NEW YORK (Dagbladet): Fender was at the same pub with Depp in Newcastle, England, after the verdict was read out in a Virginia US court last Wednesday.
Fender posted a picture of himself with Depp and musician Jeff Beck. In addition, the caption read “Some Serious Heroes”. He later deleted this post.
She said that right after that
Sorry
In a new Instagram post, Fender describes the message in the original post as “naive and disrespectful,” according to reports independent.
– I want to apologize. I was invited to a brief meeting with a music legend and actor who was in almost every movie I saw when I was growing up. I went there. We talked about the music, and without thinking, I took a photo and posted it because it was so surreal, Fender explains.
– Where are you?
“Heroes”
He says he used the word “heroes” to refer to Depp and Beck’s careers, but admits the communication was wrong as it happened right after the trial as Depp sued ex-wife Amber Heard for defamation.
I now realize it was a poor choice of words and timing, but it’s irrelevant. He was naive and disrespectful to those concerned with the issues raised during the trial. I didn’t think much, and I should have, Fender writes and adds:
I wonder about going back
– I cannot say anything other than that it was a miscalculation, and I was ignorant as to the trial, not thinking of what my letter might suggest. I am fully aware of this and I am deeply sorry for that.
Planning an Appeal
i got deep Wednesday he was upheld in all the charges against him after the ex-wife was sued to defame. She was ordered to pay $10.35 million in damages.
Heard, for her part, beat one point in her counterclaim against Depp. Therefore, he was ordered to pay $2 million in compensation for the same reason.
Heard’s lawyer indicated that she plans to appeal the ruling.
