Johnny Ruffo is still battling cancer

It happened on a Sunday in 2017 Johnny Ruffo (34) A rather shocking message from his doctor. What was thought to be a severe migraine attack turned out to be a brain tumor – and he had to undergo emergency surgery.

In 2020, he was diagnosed again with cancer.

Now the “Home and Away” star is opening up about his long battle against incurable cancer.

Ruffo became famous when he co-starred in the Australian “X Factor” in 2011, where he reached the final. He later played a pivotal role in the TV series ‘Home and Away’ and also participated in ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

In a heartbreaking interview with The project, prepared by Sky NewsRuffo candidly shares what the past five years have been like.

Cancer is incurable, so at some point it will kill me. But he says I am still fighting.

Furthermore, the “X Factor” star says that the ongoing treatment often makes him tired and makes him forget some words.

– When I read about my diagnosis and my tumor, I found out that my life expectancy is three years. Now five years have passed for me. I already win.

However, it is his girlfriend Ruffo who worries the most.

– I hate to say this, but I think a lot about how hard it would be for her if something happened to me. It makes me a little emotional, because I know something is going to happen at some point, whether it’s a month from now, or 10 years from now, or 20 years from now.
