In 2007, the world learned about the somewhat unusual Gosselin family on the reality show «John and Kate Plus 8 ».
The series gave an honest look into the lives of former couple John (47) and Kate Gosselin (49) and their children – twins Madeline and Cara (23) and sextuplets Aden, Jonathan, Colleen, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah (20).

A lot has happened since then, and today the family is somewhat divided. While Hannah and Colin live with their father, John, the rest of the children live with their mother, Kate.

Now Kate Gosselin shares a photo of four of her sextuplets, Alexis, Aden, Leah and Joel, on their 20th birthday.
“Happy 20th, my eternal children! Love you! Who feels old? At least I do!”, the mother of eight writes in the children's birthday photo.
In the photo, the four 20-year-olds are smiling at the camera with a birthday cake with candles in front of them.
It appears that the remaining children were not present during the celebration.

Hannah and Colin have lived with their father, John, in recent years. according to the people Colin previously explained that he would be training in the Navy, and did not share anything on social media on his birthday. However, one of the other sextuplets, Hannah, shared two photos on her birthday.
“Congratulations on turning 20! Girl. Love you,” John wrote under photos of his daughter.

“Jon & Kate Plus 8” ran from 2007 to 2009. The couple separated in 2009 when Kate filed for divorce.
For years there have been rumors about the reason for the divorce, most of them revolving around her having an affair with John. This is something he strongly denies.
Parts of the family returned to the screen in 2010 in the series “Kate Plus 8”, then without John. The program had its final season in 2017.
In 2022, Coleen gave a rare interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he opened up about his family situation. There, he claimed that his mother admitted him twice because he had special needs before he called his father, who was able to get him out.

Last year, in an interview with the US Sun, John revealed that he had not spoken to his eldest daughters for nine years.

At that time, the twins finished their studies immediately, but it seems that the father was not invited to the celebration.
