Kevin Vagenis talks about the new NRK series:

It’s been three years since Kevin Vagenis (36) had his final season with NRK’s hit “Couple Therapy.”

Now it’s back with a bang.

– It wandered a little for me

He plays almost all the roles in the true crime simulator “Hvor ble det av Solveig?”. Here, viewers follow a team of journalists who investigate the mysterious death of popular blogger Solveig Lingasen.

Ears on the head

The series delivers humor and excitement through comedic reconstructions and silly interviews. To Se og Hør, Vågenes recounts what it was like to play a total of 17 different roles.

– I was a little light. These characters were completely new to me. After playing many roles in “couples therapy,” I thought: “Is there anything left in this body?” He laughs.

But of course there was plenty left in the multi-talented body from Knarvik outside Bergen, who enjoyed characters from the shadow side.

– It’s nice to have a new world – which is also darker – to develop characters from. At the beginning of the recording I said that I think I won’t play more than 4-5 characters. I had a blast there! Vågenes reveals.

-A silly lover of true crime

During the fall launch of NRK, Vågenes was able to find out the inspiration behind the new NRK series.

For this reason

That’s why he “disappeared”.

– The inspiration was undoubtedly that the screenwriter and I are madly in love with true crime, since this crime genre appears on Netflix, TV 2 and all channels. We swallowed the obvious and the straightforward, and gradually saw that it was possible here to introduce some nonsense, he said to Se og Hør.

Moreover, the comedian said that it is very important to create a story that is not based on something that happened in reality. In other words, it’s a completely fictional series that parodies certain aspects of true crime.

When asked which character was the most fun to play, he replied:

– There is a character present in several scenes and several episodes. She only says “heh” throughout the series. We had to constantly find new ways to say “hello,” and it was a lot of fun. We thought there was some potential in it being all onions.
