Benedict Willumson Greg serves as Director of Strategy at Kongsberg Digital. The position is newly created, and she will take office on October 1.
Then she came from the role of business developer in the listed defense and technology group Kongsberg Gruppen, the parent company of Kongsberg Digital.
In this position, Willumsen Grieg was responsible for driving acquisitions and strategy. In her new position, she will focus specifically on partnerships and acquisitions.

Kongsberg Digital aims to digitize industries in the world. According to the company, the new partnerships and acquisitions will be part of an offensive strategy in industries such as offshore, oil and gas, processing and renewable energy. New market locations will also be explored.
On Kongsberg Gruppen’s capital market day late last year, strong growth for Kongsberg Digital was announced.
In 2024, sales will be around NOK 3 billion, up from nearly NOK 700 million in 2020, and 80 percent will come from software as a service (SaaS).

Willumsen Grieg has been with the Kongsberg Group since 2018. In addition, she is a board member of Kongsberg Innovation, Grieg Kapital and Grieg Foundation.
Previously, she was Director of Strategy at Telenor’s digital investment in financial services and for several years at consultancy Arkwright.
