League Cup: Premier League competition for United

League Cup: Premier League competition for United

United won the League Cup last season after goals from Casemiro and Marcus Rashford in the final at Wembley Stadium, and in September United will start their campaign to defend the title.

It begins with another home game, of which there has been a lot for United in domestic cups lately: Manchester United will visit Crystal Palace.

The third round of the League Cup takes place in the middle of the last week of September (everything indicates that Tuesday 26 September or Wednesday 27 September will be the date of the match).

In other words, there will be two games at home to Crystal Palace that week, with United facing Palace in the league the following weekend.

Ticket information: The fan club will start selling tickets on Thursday morning. There are far fewer tickets available for League Cup matches than for League matches.
