The star has been closely associated with Real Madrid for a long time, but if we are to believe Le Parisien, Mbappé has now opted to extend his contract with PSG.

Responds to allegations

The attacking player is said to have agreed with the club on a two-year contract.

According to Le Parisien newspaper, the value of the new contract is around 970,000 euros per week and the player will receive a signing bonus of 100 million euros.

The parties must agree to such an agreement, claimed, but not signed.

Shortly after Le Parisien dropped his case, the reaction came from the Mbappe camp.

There is no agreement with Paris Saint-Germain or any other club. Discussions about Kylian’s future continue quietly, until he can make the best decision. Mbappe’s mother, Fayza Al-Amari, says this respects all parties involved, according to well-informed journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Mbappe’s original contract with the French club expires this summer, and it has long been seen as unrealistic for him to continue there.

However, earlier this spring, there was speculation that it might be appropriate to stay at PSG and it now appears that this might be an opportunity.

Club director Mauricio Pochettino, who himself faces an uncertain future at Paris Saint-Germain, recently stated that he was 100 per cent sure Mbappe and himself would stay.
