The Colombian footballer’s mother was rescued after being kidnapped on Saturday. The father is still missing.

According to Colombian authorities, the kidnapping took place in Barrancas, La Guajira province, in the north of the country, on Saturday.
The newspaper reported that gunmen on motorcycles approached the footballer’s parents when they were on their way home. Tempo.
Diaz, 26, who also plays for the Colombian national team, has not yet commented on the matter.
Colombian authorities stated that they are doing everything in their power to find those responsible after the kidnapping.
