200,000 fewer people witnessed the final this year than last year.
Saturday was the finale of the “Compagnie Lauritzen” reality concept.
Last year, 827,000 people watched the final either linearly or on TV 2 Play, according to campaign. This year, so far, there are 623,000.
This is a decrease of 204,000.
On average, episodes have 910,000 viewers. Six episodes have had over a million viewers so far.
However, TV 2's program editor, Trygve Ronningen, is not worried.
– There will be no such decline when we sum it up in a few days, he tells VG.
Ronningen explains that Norwegians view software in a completely different way than in the past.
– There has been a big change in viewing habits compared to last year. Therefore, these numbers will increase with every passing hour.
It is believed that viewing figures will be more realistic at the end of the week.
– Company Lauritzen averaged over a million last year, and I think it will be the case this year as well. So when we determine the final numbers, I don't think there will be any decline.
On the same evening as the “Company” final, “Gullruten 2024” was broadcast on TV 2. That broadcast was watched by 324,000 people.
The “game” has been a hit with viewers, and this weekend won the Gullrute Award for “Best Competition-Based Reality.” 654,000 watched the semi-final on the weekend.
