Last week, Mount was introduced as a new player to Manchester United following his move from Chelsea.
United are said to have paid around £55m for the 24-year-old, who played his first match for the red shirts in Wednesday’s friendly against Leeds United at Ollevale.
In recent days, a video of United’s senior signing has gone viral on social media. In the video, some people are seen following Mount and asking for an autograph.

However, Gebel does not care and rejects people’s wishes. As they pursued the mountain, the 24-year-old told them:
– I haven’t signed one in the past three days, so I don’t know why you keep coming back.
The video went viral on social media with mixed reactions. Some think it’s rude of Mount not to give people an autograph, while others support him and think they’re too intrusive.
In any event, Manchester United felt compelled to comment on the video.
Unfortunately, this type of situation has become very common. United wrote in a statement, “This is the last thing Mason deserves after he has been so friendly to everyone he has met since joining United.” Manchester Evening News.

Manchester United sounded the alarm
According to United, it has become such a problem that professional autograph hunters pressure their players to sign large quantities of merchandise which they then sell for hundreds of pounds.
– It has become an everyday thing and a huge problem at Carrington. These organized groups will block players’ cars and harass them as they arrive and leave the workplace. It’s getting really serious, and you’re worried it’s only a matter of time before someone gets really hurt,” Manchester United wrote.

United believe these signature hunters are destroying young fans who just want to meet their heroes, because now players won’t park their cars.
– It’s really frustrating for everyone. The security staff has a regular dialogue with the players on how to stop the problem. And the club wrote that action would certainly be taken if this continued.
