Gundersen’s post became known just days after she shared the sad news that she had lost her father. She shared it herself on social media, along with a picture of her and her father.

“And then our beloved father and grandfather’s life ended, and it was very sad,” she wrote at the beginning of the post.

“Our dad was the nicest person we know. He was so positive in everything he was involved in. The family is together now, and I will miss him for a long time to come. It is unbelievable to us that our sweet dad is on the other side now.”
