Rosendalsstiftinga has appointed renowned photographer and visual artist Oyvind Helmen from Stord to handle the photography for the portrait of Lul Krag. He needs a room that can be blacked out. Then he himself controls the light he needs to get good results. We will use the dinosaur house in Steinparken in Rosendal for photography.
overwhelming reaction
We got a lot of feedback from the public. Most of them come from Kvinnherad, but we’ve received responses from all over the country from people who are interested in Lul Krag. To date, we have registered about 150 privately owned images. In addition, they come as resting places in the community house in Rosendalstunnet, in the church and in the Wallen hospital. We have also been given access to use the image as it is printed in various publications and books about Lul Krag. Finally, we have good contacts with the National Museum and KODE in Bergen.
We invite you to volunteer at Lul Krag
Oyvind Helmen has dedicated Week 37 to us. Filming begins on Tuesday 12 September and will continue as long as we receive photos that week. Rosendalsstiftinga will contact everyone who has provided feedback directly to arrange delivery and pick-up. Those who have the opportunity to do so can submit the photo for photography at Dinosaurhuset in Steinparken.. We accept photos from Monday 11th September and we have an open house on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our hope is that as many people as possible will take the opportunity to submit a photo on Monday. This is so that Oyvind Helmen can get a good foot in the picture when he starts his photo shoot on Tuesday. . Those who do not have the opportunity to turn in an image Monday through Wednesday may come on one of the other days of the week that the artwork will be photographed. We can arrange this over the phone.
Image recovery
For those who, for various reasons, cannot deliver and collect tickets themselves, we will organize a collection service. Pick-up and delivery agreements are concluded when we make contact. Look for an advertisement in the newspaper with information on when and where the photo will be delivered.
