Molde is out of Europe after the drama – misses Mourinho’s duel – VG

Unfortunately for coaches Erling Mo and Molde, they ended up losing in a penalty shootout against Trabzonspor in the third round of the UEFA Europa League qualifiers.

Substitutes, Eric Hollande Andersen and David Fofana, became scapegoats in the penalty shootout. Öland Andersen hit the crossbar while Fofana’s attempt was very baffling.

A pole fell from Stian Gregersen in the Sigurdarson district. The 30-year-old got the ball to Ola Brynhildsen, before sprinting toward Trabzonspor’s goal and rushing to Brynhildsen’s end. The equalizer approached seven minutes of overtime.

The long goal rule has been removed from all European Championships. So Sigurdarsson scored 1-1 (4-4 overall) in “only” extra rounds.

Trabzonspor led 1-0 after less than an hour of playing. Edgar lé took advantage of dullness in Molde’s defense when he met a corner kick from Tasos Bakasetas.

Molde was completely on par with the Turks, but he did not create the whole world in the second half. Everything indicates that Trabzonspor will go off in victory, but that was before Sigurdarsun entered the field.

The Turks face Roma in a playoff match in the innovative European Conference League.

Matches against Roma are held on August 19-26, and the winner is ready for the group stage of the tournament, which is in the third tier in Europe – behind the Champions League and the European League.
