In September 2020, Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed the Model S Plaid, an update to Tesla’s flagship Model S, and initial deliveries began in the US in June of this year.
The model received relatively modest cosmetic changes on the outside, but in terms of interior design, a complete overhaul was carried out, including new screens and the center console. In addition, the car is very fast and should complete the sprint from 0-100 km / h in 2.1 seconds.
The Model S Plaid is available on the Norwegian Tesla website at a starting price of NOK 1,299,990, with an estimated delivery time of end 2022 for customers who order today.
The estimated delivery time on Tesla’s US site is now scheduled for June 2022 for customers who order today, while the model has been rolled out continuously for US customers who pre-ordered.
Customers who have already ordered receive delivery information continuously through their Tesla account.
China in March
In a tweet on Monday, a Shanghai fan Musk answered the question, “When is the Model S Plaid coming to China?”.
“Maybe around March,” replied Musk, who earlier in the day tweeted “The Model S Plaid is innocent!!!!”.
Originally, a higher version, Plaid+, was also planned, but Musk announced on Twitter this summer that the model would not go into production. The reason for this, according to the Tesla boss, is that “Plaid is very good.”
- The price of the card is 1,299,990 NOK.
