“Is there any life on Mars?”
This is one of the questions that many people ask when talking about the planet next to Earth.
And now researchers from NASA have found something that may help us provide better answers to this question in the future.

The Mars rover Curiosity has made discoveries in the mud that researchers believe came from cycles of wet and dry weather over several years.
– This is the first concrete evidence we’ve seen that the ancient climate on Mars had regular dry and wet cycles similar to those of dry Earth, says researcher William Rabin of the French Institute for Space Research.
But more importantly, dry and wet cycles are beneficial, and perhaps essential, to the molecular evolution that could lead to life.
The researchers now hope that the clay samples will provide additional answers about the formation of life on Mars.
