Ivar Lundsten got a surprise when, like many others, he was out to enjoy a warm Pentecost on the Oslo Fjord on Monday afternoon.
Moored with two other boats in Medagspukta in Asker when they suddenly discover two large luxury yachts:
It’s not often that such large yachts exist, Lundsten tells Dagbladet.
This in itself naturally attracted attention, but they soon realized that boats weren’t just exclusive. Suddenly narrowed down to one:
– Isn’t Haaland?
He was right. It turns out that it was the Norwegian men’s soccer team that came out to celebrate yesterday’s victory over Sweden. Lundsten, who docked in the bay on Friday, snapped a photo of the players on the two boats.
– They bathed and enjoyed themselves. He tells Dagbladet he deserved it after the win against Sweden.
The Norwegian national team had rented the two boats for this occasion. This is confirmed by Steinar Magne Olsbø of luksusyachter.no, who owns the boats:
– Yes, but I don’t want to comment on the matter further, says Olsbow.
The superyacht website states that the largest of the two boats used by the national team is the 85-foot Princess 85 “Chancer”, which is chartered for use for “exclusive VIP charters.”
Dagbladet attempted to get comment from Morten Morisbak Skjønsberg, an A-men media manager and communications consultant, but did not respond Monday night.
note. Norway has again two matches in this group. On Thursday 9 June, she awaits a home game against Slovenia, before Sweden hosts Olival on Sunday.
