On Wednesday afternoon, Swedish Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hollengren (S) and Minister of Culture and Democracy Amanda Lind (MP) will hold a press conference on the results of the corona epidemic.
Watch the press conference on Dagbladet TV from 3.20pm.
Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hollengren said the government has decided to introduce vaccination certificates for all events attended by more than 100 people.
– This is tough news. We all want the epidemic to end, says Hollengren.
The vaccination certificate is valid for those 16 years of age and older.
Hollangren says the Corona certification will be introduced from December 1 for public events and events attended by more than 100 people.
Several factors play a role in the decision to introduce the Corona Passport.
– Amanda Lind, Minister of Culture and Democracy, says it’s about security.
Public events include sporting events, theatrical performances, cinemas, concerts, markets and trade fairs. Demonstrations, religious meetings and lectures are also affected.
Restaurant visits, on the other hand, are not included unless there is live music or dancing on campus. Shops, schools or public transport are not described as public meetings.
At the press conference, residents are encouraged to get vaccinated.
– We can not settle and hope for the best. Get vaccinated now, says Karin Techmark Wiesel, director general of the Swedish Public Health Agency.
Tegmark Wisell may have remote requirements and will provide updates.
– Your most important contribution is to get you vaccinated, says the Minister of Social Affairs.
