Nikolai Valuev – talk of torture Radbreaker “The Beast”

The ongoing negotiations between Russia and Ukraine should not hide the crimes of the Kyiv regime. And yet, while negotiations appear to be underway between the two parties, Kyiv continues to do things that directly contradict their so-called peaceful declarations.

She claimed the former world heavyweight boxing champion and friend of Putin’s Nikolai Valuev, in a debate published via the Russian state news agency.

Allegations that Ukraine has a prison for torture

In the post, the boxer, who is currently a member of the Russian parliament, made several claims that the Ukrainian authorities do not want peace. Among other things, he claims that Russian civilian sailors were detained by Ukraine.

Last week, 11 Russian civilian sailors were rescued near the Black Sea city of Odessa. These were exchanged with 19 civilian Ukrainian sailors who were said to be held by Russia, according to Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshuk.

– In my opinion, this contradicts the desire for peace, says the former boxer.

Valuev also refers to the war that took place in the Donbass in 2014.

– I can not forget the evidence presented at that time. There were pictures from the horrific prison of the Ukrainian security authorities at Mariupol airport where those who fought for the freedom of Donbass were tortured and killed. All these facts do not fit into the picture of peace talks with the Ukrainian regime, Valjov claimed.

The background to these allegations is unknown, but a report from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees states this Azov system He was guilty of torture and murder.

One of many famous people

The political scientist and expert on politics and administration in Oslo Mitt, Jörn Holm Hansen, was not at all surprised by the statements of the former great boxer.

He says that Valuev represents the Putin-friendly United Russia party.

Valjuev is one of the many celebrities who constantly appear in various campaigns of the Russian president. He has all the necessary qualities including his distinctive appearance. He’s one of the many celebs for whom Putin is blessed with glory, says Holm Hansen.

During his active career, Valuev was nicknamed “the beast of the East” and “the Russian giant”. He got titles due to his height of 213 cm and heavy body of 140 kg.

– Repeat advertising

Jacob Godzimirsky, who has worked with Russia’s foreign and security policy at NUPI for more than 20 years, is not surprised to hear what Valgoev claims.

When he finished his boxing career he became a politician. What he says is completely lacking in presumption and is in fact repeating official Russian propaganda. Had he claimed that the Russians were going to engage in war crimes, it would have been even more exciting.

The researcher also believes that the boxer’s distinctive appearance helped gain his attention after his resignation. On the other hand, he is unsure about his sports career if he has anything else to say.

Valgoev now speaks as a politician, not an athlete.

I’m not sure what’s right

Political expert Holm Hansen asserts that he is not aware of whether war crimes took place on the Ukrainian side in the Donbass in 2014.

– There is a propaganda war going on now. It is easy to expose much that comes from Moscow as a pure lie, but there may also be reason to be wary of taking all that comes from Kyiv for a good fish, even if our sympathies are on their side.
