Dick and Angel Strobridge, known from the British TV series “Dreamcastle”, announce an important change in their lives. They chose to embark on a tour of England, a tour they called “Home Forever”. This new adventure will allow them to share their experiences in pursuing their dream of a castle in France. With great enthusiasm, they are looking forward to this new stage, and express that they “simply cannot wait.”

“Drømmeslottet” was a huge favorite in several European countries, including Norway, where it was broadcast on NRK. The series followed the couple’s adventures from their move to France to an old castle, to their many creative renovation projects. These projects included building an elevator in one of the castle’s towers and creating a Victorian conservatory from the living room of the castle.

The series also gave audiences an insight into the family’s lives, with many poignant moments and insights into raising their two children, Dorothy and Arthur.

But after nine seasons, the couple decided to retire from the show. They have expressed a desire to protect the family part of their lives, especially since their two children, Dorothy and Arthur, are now nine and ten years old.

to Radio Times Dick said the following:
Our children are nine and ten years old. They had innocence and joy in what we did. We have a lot of things we still plan to do in the castle, but we want to protect the family part of it.

At the same time, there were disagreements around the spouses. They were accused of bad behavior and bullying towards the series’ producers, which led Channel 4, the show’s producers, to end their partnership with them. Despite these accusations, the couple thanked the support they received from fans on social media, stressing that there are always two sides to the story.
