On Monday came the first reports that Bayern Munich has been following the Norwegian “for several years” and is considering bringing him in as a temporary solution if they get rid of Thomas Tuchel.
Earlier on Wednesday, it was confirmed that the German will leave the club after the season, but there is still the possibility of Tuchel being sacked earlier.
Reliable Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg now comes up with new reports on Solskjaer's possible takeover of the top German club.

German media: Bayern Munich is considering including Solskjaer
I have to report to Bayern
Plettenberg reports that Solskjaer will be ready if Bayern's original plan to keep Tuchel for the rest of the season fails and they decide to get rid of him early.
According to the German journalist, Solskjaer must have told the club of his desire to sign even if the contract only extends until the end of the season.
The Norwegian is said to be high on Bayern Munich's roster.
The German club will only be interested in finding a temporary solution if Tuchel is sacked, making the contract-free Solskjaer an ideal candidate.
One person who doesn't think Solskjaer could become Bayern Munich's next coach is Viaplay commentator Eivind Bisgaard Sandet, who follows German football closely.
– If this happens, I will bike to Munich for Ole's first home match, he wrote in X.
Furthermore, he admits that there may be something to the reports after all:
– Meanwhile, the man delivering the message here is a reputable man who works for Sky, and he writes more.
Can experience culture shock
Konstantin Ekner comments on football for German broadcaster Sport1 and DAZN. He has worked as a German football correspondent for the US channel ESPN and English for The Times and the BBC. Ekner says Bayern's potential new coach will have to navigate a veritable 'hornets' nest'.
The club is full of strong personalities and people responsible for overseeing different areas around the first team, he told Netavisen earlier this week.
Special mention was given to sporting director Christoph Freund, who is responsible, among other things, for transfer operations. It is Freund specifically who is said to have scouted Solskjaer as a potential candidate to fill the coaching role on an interim basis, according to German broadcaster Sky Sports.

Max Eberl, the new board member responsible for sport, is also the one who will have a say in the team when he joins the club. He is a highly respected football manager, and joins Bayern from a similar role at RB Leipzig.
Moreover, Ekner says there are also former “leaders” still lurking behind the scenes.
– The most important people to watch are Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeneß. They still frequent the halls and always have something to say, no matter how formal their roles at the club are at the moment, says the Bundesliga expert.
