Daniel Andrews, Victoria’s prime minister, says the funeral will be more like a concert than a funeral.
Australian actress and singer Olivia Newton-John is buried at public expense Limit. Newton-John’s niece, Totti Goldsmith, accepted the offer.
“I have spoken to Totti Goldsmith and, on behalf of the family, I have accepted my offer of a state funeral,” says Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews.
According to Andrews, the funeral will be more like a concert.
– It would be a celebration of a decent life, he says.

Olivia Newton-John was 73 years old. She slept quietly on her ranch in Southern California.
Newton-John lived with breast cancer for 30 years, but it has not been confirmed whether the disease contributed to her death.
She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, but became cancer-free after treatment. The same thing happened in 2013, but in 2019 she was diagnosed with cancer again.
The world-renowned actress got her big break in the 1978 musical Grease, where she played opposite John Travolta.
Travolta played bad boy Danny in “Grease” who fell in love with the innocent Sandy, played by Newton John.
