– We have arrested a new man today in connection with the shooting episode in Trostroot. He is charged with two counts of attempted murder, the head of the Joint Intelligence and Intelligence Unit (FEE) in the Oslo Police District told the NTB on Thursday morning.
The shooting took place on the night of August 25 this year at the Trostroot in Crotodalen, Oslo. Two youths were seriously injured when an unidentified person opened fire on them.
It was Dagbladet Who first mentioned the arrest.
Medlit will not go out with further details about the arrest, except for what happened Thursday morning.
Arrested in the east of Oslo
Meslit told the NDP the man was arrested in an apartment east of Oslo.
– He is now in the police station and we hope to start the investigation soon. We are conducting further investigations following the arrest, ”he says.
A man in his 50s was arrested on August 31 and charged with attempted murder, but was released two days later as the suspicion against him weakened.
Medlit confirms that the new man arrested by the police is also a good adult.
With the age of the new offender we still don’t want to go out. Another person with us was arrested, but he says this man was not associated with the new arrest.

Police have not yet decided whether to remand the accused in custody.
