The star’s girlfriend is Tara Davis, who herself was a long jumper in Tokyo earlier this summer, where she competed in the Olympic long jump.
In the end, the 22-year-old came home with a disappointing sixth place.
Soon after she returns home, her boyfriend Woodhull sets a course for the same city and Paralympics.
Woodhall amputated both of his legs due to a congenital injury. Previously, he was good at running lessons at the Paralympics. In 2016, he won the silver in the 200 meters and the bronze in the 400 meters.
On Friday, he ran for a new bronze in the 400 metres.
– Incredibly proud
At home in the United States sat a proud friend.
Living with tribute
Sincerity, tears in the eyes. I am incredibly proud of you, my dear. Your journey continues. Davis wrote in an Instagram story, Now We’re On Vacation, where she filmed her boyfriend getting a bronze medal on TV.
– exhausted
Woodhull himself wrote on Instagram that it’s hard to describe how he’s feeling right now.
“This medal represents the support I received from my girlfriend, family, friends, team and others on my way here,” he writes.
Just like the Olympics, the Paralympic Games have been postponed by a year. Woodhull, who finished sixth in the 100m before that games, describes how difficult the race was.
– I’ve been training for these games since September 2019. My body is tired and I’m training to take a break, he wrote on Instagram.
