Harald Eia (57) and Petter Northug (37) are the latest duo to create a new comedy show on TV 2.
This is confirmed by the show’s editor, Katrin Halldorsen:
Harald Ea is one of the greatest Norwegian humorists of all time. For us at TV 2, it’s of course great that it’s now part of our offensive commitment to Norwegian humour, says the programme’s editor.
And according to Haldorsen, the fact that Eia has Northug on the team is just the icing on the cake:
The fact that he’ll be collaborating with Petter Northug is probably surprising and totally new anyway. We look forward to surprising our viewers with this concept.
Eia says he was very surprised when TV 2 connected for the first time:
– I thought it was a hidden camera when TV 2 called and wanted something close, laughs Harald Eia – and continues:
– That’s something I’m really looking forward to. It’s unplowed ground that we’re getting out now, and that motivates me a lot. I’m where the stakes are, now on TV 2. And then it’ll be exciting to work with Petter. Ia says he is a driven guy who is funny and funny at the same time.
Northug, who says he’s a huge fan of Eia and his sense of humor, is also looking forward to starting the new project:
– I’ve always been a huge fan of Harald Ea – ever since I saw him on TV for the first time. Now I’m looking forward to working with him on TV 2,” says Northug.
Exactly what they’ll do, the duo is currently a secret.
– First of all, we’re going to have a lot of fun. I think the conclusion now is that what we’re going to make now can be absolutely cocoa, says Ea.
Eia and Northug will be seen on TV2 in spring 2024.
