The electric car company is downsizing its staff by 15 percent. It is uncertain whether the 54 employees in Norway will be affected.

The cuts will not affect employees working in production.
The company's Swedish press officer, Theo Kjellberg, told the newspaper that the background to the cuts was the new business plan the company presented in November.
Our ambition is to deliver approximately 160,000 cars by 2025 and increase our profitability as well as reduce our need for external financing. To achieve the plan, we need to adapt to the size of the business.
It will apply to around 450 employees across the group. In Gothenburg, 250 employees were affected.

In total, the company has about 3,000 employees globally, including consultants, said Polestar Norge press contact Christine Fjeld.
The Norwegian company Polestar has 54 employees, but it is unclear whether they will be affected by the cuts.
