Two teenage boys were stabbed in Porsgrunn on Thursday evening.
The boys were allegedly assaulted by an unknown person, according to Southeast Police District Operations Manager Eric Ulhac Olsen.
– The operations manager tells NRK that we have all the evidence in the search for the culprit.
Both the injured were stabbed in the arm and leg and were conscious when they were taken to the hospital, police said.
Searching with a dog
The stabbing must have taken place outside at Fjordgata in Porsgrunn.
Police are working to get an overview of the sequence of events, but the motive behind the incident is still unknown.
Dog patrols and police helicopters are searching for the man suspected of stabbing the boys.
A patrolman waits at the hospital to talk to the boys.
At the same time, police are on patrol to find out if there are any witnesses to the incident.
– We are working to communicate with people who were in the area, says Olson.
– Is there any reason for people traveling in the local area to be concerned because an unknown criminal is at large?
– Nothing to mention now. I request people to be vigilant and follow. Call us if you have any tips or information that may be of use to us, says the operations manager.
