In June, Prince Andrew, 63, will attend a grand party with his siblings King Charles, 74, and Prince Edward, 59. It’s no secret that Andrew has attracted a lot of negative publicity in recent years, but this time it’s his looks that are under review.
there is a problem
The Prince has stated that he will wear what is called a seal cap under the Royal Victorian Warrant, or Victorian Order. It is a British knighthood that rewards the merits of a monarch – that is, King Charles.
Former Member of Parliament Norman Baker, 65, thinks little of Andrew’s choice of fur dress under Victoria’s order.
– Prince Andrew will go to great lengths to return to public life. The only thing he has to do is get fired, he’s pissed off the sun.
– He is simply allowed to “dress” like a member of the royal family for the day, when he really deserves a long period of silence.
– That’s why they were expelled
Author Ingrid Seward has written a number of books on the British royal family. She could tell he still had a ceremonial role, no one could stop him from appearing in royal robes.
– He’s a member, so they probably couldn’t stop him from leaving even if they wanted to.
Prince Andrew’s ceremonial role in the 127-year-old’s knighthood is one of the few titles the late Queen Elizabeth has not stripped, following his accusation of sexual assault last year. But the prince denied all accusations, but he was still stripped of his royal duties.
In addition to the fraternity, there will be up to 600 guests.
Buckingham Palace did not comment on the matter.
