Duchess Meghan, 41, explains in her podcast that she wants the right to be direct without calling it anger.
On Tuesday’s episode of “Original Models” The Duchess addresses what she believes is an unfair label women of color often receive – meaning that they are ‘loud and angry’.
She says it is a myth she aims to dispel.
Meghan has stated that she herself often “blushes and stands on tiptoe” when she walks into the room, because she feels she can’t say what she wants without being viewed negatively.
We must give ourselves the opportunity to discover what it feels like to live our true selves. To be able to be direct without being referred to as angry, to exist on our own terms and just get is being. She says: Be human.
Megan’s podcast series aims to explore archetypes, or “the labels and patterns that try to constrain women.”
