Rapper Drakeo, the governor, died after being stabbed at a Los Angeles festival on Sunday.
A person was stabbed at the Once Upon A Time music festival in Los Angeles, which takes place at Bank of California Stadium.
The accident was reported on Saturday around 20.40 local time. The victim is said to be a male artist in his thirties.
Sunday Reports TMZ It was rapper Daryl Caldwell, better known as Drakeo the Ruler, who was stabbed. He is said to have died of his wounds.
The artist turned 28 years old.
Drakeo was one of dozens of performers at the big all-day event Saturday at Exposition Park in Los Angeles.
Several hip-hop artists, including Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, The Game, 50 Cent, and YG, have been performing at the festival. According to Los Angeles Police Department officials, the city has closed the concert.
Caldwell is said to have been behind the scenes around 20.30 local time, when the fight broke out. During the fight, he was said to have been stabbed, according to TMZ police.
Several sources have reported to TMZ that he died of his injuries, after being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The police will investigate the case, as well as interview all the artists and people who were there when the fight broke out.
Event organizers canceled the festival after the event.
