Airline Norris Atlantic declines sharply after negotiations end.

The main index on the Oslo Stock Exchange fell by 0.36 percent since the beginning.

This is the case for some of the most widely traded stocks:

  • Shipstead shares rose 0.46 percent
  • Equinor shares fell by 0.48%.
  • Norwegian falls 0.56 percent
  • Kongsberg Gruppen fell 0.5 percent
  • DNB shares rose by 0.29%.

The price of oil fell by about 0.89 percent since midnight. A barrel of North Sea oil, at the price of Brent crude, is trading at about $84.26.

The Scandinavian negotiations ended

Saturday mentioned Airline Norris Atlantic said that discussions with a potential strategic partner ended without result.

Nourse announced last year that it had hired a brokerage firm to seek such opportunities with existing airlines.

– The company will continue to work closely with Seabury Securities moving forward to ensure potential opportunities are carefully evaluated for the benefit of shareholders and clients, Nourse wrote in the letter.

The stock fell by about 18.15 percent.

The company will now secure several long-term winter leases, and operate its own summer routes when demand is at its highest, says CEO Björn Tore Larsen.

“We will keep the market and our shareholders updated on more active strategic paths as they develop,” he says.

Completion of the Hydro Rein deal

Hydro has completed the sale of 49.9 percent of renewable energy company Hydro Rein to Macquarie Asset Management, the company announced in a statement. Stock exchange announcement.

The deal was announced to be completed in October 2023.

Hydro Rein's valuation in the deal is set at $333 as of June 30, 2023. Macquarie will inject $214 million of that amount upon completion of the deal, the exchange announcement said.

The impact of the transaction will be recognized in Hydro's second-quarter income statement and will be excluded from “adjusted results.”
