Robbie Williams was introduced as the new president of League One club Port Vale FC at the weekend.
However, the club denies that Williams will become the new owner.
“Robbie Williams has not made an offer to buy Port Vale Football Club and there has been no talk of a purchase,” the club wrote on its website. X.
New projects
British the sun I reported a few days ago that Williams, along with a group of investors, were working on the possibility of acquiring the property in Port Vale.
The club itself denies this, but writes that they are investigating the possibility of collaborating on positive projects, without going into detail about what that would entail.
Owner of the rose share
In a video clip posted on X This weekend, Williams bragged about part-owner Carroll.
-The reason I've been away from Port Vale for so long is because I've never met the people who run the club. He said he did not feel loved, welcomed or welcome.
– Then Carol and her family came along and revitalized the club, and I noticed that happening and I thought it was incredibly interesting. It kind of made me reinvest, first in terms of interest and then by putting my heart back into the club,” the pop star continued.
