— It is absolutely true that I took a pair of spectacles out of a shop in Cartermoyne without paying for them. That’s not the point, it’s just too embarrassing, says Moxnes Romerikes Blad.
The incident took place in June while Moxnes was on a private trip.
– As I was about to leave, I quickly forgot I had them with me and left the store. Later, a guard came and asked for the glass. And then I was incredibly embarrassed. Instead of making any excuses, accept the consequences.
He says he accepted the simple plan, paying NOK 1,199 for the glasses. The size of the submission is not yet known.
The newspaper has contacted police attorney Ole-Martin Grundsrud, who is in charge of investigating the case.
