Jon Arne Reese, the man with the most caps for Norway’s men’s national team and coach of Avaldsens, believes the players should take their share of the blame after the European Championship exit.
Reese was a BBC expert during the match, but made the trip to TV 2 when the match was over.
I totally agree that Martin Sjogren should take a lot of the blame for missing so many tactics, but the players who dominate at the big clubs, I expect a lot from them.
In the end, players have to perform. We have players in Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester United, Lyon and Arsenal,” Rice tells TV 2.
The former Liverpool champion believes that the players themselves should take action in the match. That they had to make changes themselves when they saw that what they were trying didn’t work.
“I feel like many of them hid in combat,” says Reese.
Before the tournament, the Norwegian team set a goal for a medal, but for the second time in a row, the national team advanced to the European group stage.
Morten Langley, TV 2 football expert, is unsure if Norway’s team is as good as he thought.
– I’m not sure if player material is as good as you think, even if you have players at big clubs, says TV 2 football expert Morten Langley.
Case is updated!
– I struggle with the players. This project must be completed
