(West Ham – Liverpool 2-2) Mohamed Salah was ready to be replaced. Then West Ham equalized.

Jurgen Klopp chose to put his biggest star on the bench from the start against West Ham. Even when Liverpool failed to score and needed a goal, Salah sat on the bench.
Only a quarter of an hour before the end of the match, when Liverpool had already turned the game into 2-1, the Liverpool coach pointed to Salah.

What the discussion was about is unknown, but a replay of the situation showed a very frustrated Salah waving his arms at his boss and being sent off by his team-mates.
Klopp calmly walked away from the situation. He will not say what was said between them:

Even with Salah securing the goal in the final minutes, Liverpool were unable to respond again.

The result means that Liverpool loses two new points in the title struggle with Manchester City and Arsenal. It is now two points ahead of league leaders Arsenal, who have played one match less.

Liverpool were the better team in a weak and chance-poor first half, and for a long period looked well in control, but that was before they were treated to a veritable cold shower two minutes before half-time when Jarrod Bowen rose into the air from a cross. From Muhammad Quddus.
In the second half, Liverpool came out at a completely different pace and started the first half brilliantly when Andy Robertson equalized 1-1.
Then, after half-time, the game turned when West Ham's defense was unlucky and made a mistake. Cody Jacobo's shot went through one, two and three West Ham players before the ball curled into the back net to make it 2-1.
Then Liverpool will only need three points.
