New features in the app must be charged.
The new subscription service Snapchat+ is on its way to Norway, shortly after launching in the US earlier this summer.
According to the company, Snapchat+ subscriptions give access to “a host of exclusive and experimental features.” The price in Norway will be 49 NOK per month or 479 NOK per year.
Among the functions that are included, “#1 BFF” is mentioned – the ability to pin a person to your friends list as your best friend or “best friends forever”.
Another function that could be interesting is the indicator that says something about how many people are looking at your “story” again. On the other hand, it was not revealed who he saw more than once.
Snapchat + subscriptions will also have access to more Snapchat codes and your profile will receive a Snapchat + badge. By the way, we mentioned all this earlier this summer – the new thing is that the service will now also be available for Norwegian users.
According to Snapchat, more exclusive features are on the way as well.
Snapchat is not the first to use additional paid services. The messaging service Telegram launched its “Premium” subscription in mid-June – before Snapchat + officially launched.
Telegram Premium includes, among other things, faster downloads, which makes it possible to upload larger files and allows users to have twice as many things as chats, channels or groups.
We should also mention that the Twitter “blue” level, which actually came last year, where a user can, for example, undo tweets within a certain period of time.
