The 73rd Emmy Awards will be held Monday night in Los Angeles. This year, the distribution took place in an outdoor tent, due to the Corona pandemic.
Status is updated.
There are a lot of us in this little room. What do we do? “They said this has to be the outdoors, it’s not,” comedian Seth Rogen said when he was to reveal the first prize winner tonight at the Emmy Awards.
At 02.00 last night, the generous awards ceremony began in Los Angeles.
– They lied to us. We are now in an airtight tent. I will not come here. Why is this a thank you? More importantly, we have three more chandeliers than we’re not killing Eugene Levy tonight. That’s what was decided, Rogen joked.
– I went from sanitizing my food, to peeing Bettany sneezing in my face, he continues.
It’s not certain whether Rogen’s alleged coronavirus concern is real – but the remarks nonetheless sparked laughter from the stars in the audience.
The awards ceremony will be led by actor Cedric the Entertainer, but Seth Rogen was a guest star and handed out the first prize for the evening.

HBO’s The Crown and Disney’s The Mandalorian are poised to win the most awards with 24 nominations each. The next series in the list of most nominations are “WandaVision” and “The Handmaid’s Tale”.
Newcomer nomination
This year’s awards ceremony could also honor many newcomers. Up to 75 percent of the nominees for an Emmy have never been nominated before, including “Cobra Kai,” “Emily in Paris,” “Hack,” “Ben 15,” “Ted Lasso,” and “Flight Attendant.”
In addition, 44 first-time actors have been nominated for either lead roles, supporting roles, or guest roles. Elizabeth Olsen is among the newcomers, for her role in the Emmy favorite ‘Wanda Vision’.
Other major series that received multiple award nominations this year include drama series Bridgeton, HBO series Lovecraft County, and Amazon series The Boys.
