Melanie Chisholm, or Mel C, is coming to We Love the 2000s in October.
This was confirmed by organizer Nordic Beats.
Project manager Chris Collings told VG that “We Love the ’90s” has been delayed five times since the coronavirus pandemic.
– Now we finally get to the movie “We Love the 90s”, which was supposed to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2020.
The ’90s party will take place at the Telenor Arena on Friday, while the “We love the 2000s” party, where the Spice Girls legend will perform, will take place on Saturday.
Mel C will headline with 20 other artists.
We think it’s a lot of fun, says Collings.
Melanie Chisholm is probably best known for being one of the biggest girl group ever, the Spice Girls, who have sold over 100 million records worldwide.
She also had a solo career after that with songs like “Never Be The Same Again” and “I Turn To You”. Additionally, she had the duet “When You Go” with Brian Adams.
During “We love the 2000s”, she will perform her hit songs and old Spice Girls songs.
Same weekend. On October 21 and 22, artists like Scooter, Aqua, Bomfunk MCs, Blue, Atomic Kitten and Coolio will be on stage at Telenor Arena.
