Online tabloids were quick to inform curious readers that the singer is not single, but is in fact engaged.
On Thursday, he told his 5.2 million followers that it was over between him and influencer and activist Giorgia Soleri (27). The relationship lasted six years.
It happens after a video went viral on social media, which supposedly shows the artist kissing another woman in a nightclub.

In his statement, David apologizes for the video and writes that it wasn’t about how they wanted to handle the situation.
He informs that the breach should have happened two days earlier, and denies any kind of treason.
The artist concludes by saying that he hopes the incident will not have a negative impact on Georgia’s reputation and requests that privacy be respected.
In May, the former couple shared their seemingly blossoming love for each other on Instagram.
The couple regularly shared glimpses of everyday life in Rome, where they lived with their three cats.
Soleri has not yet commented on the breach, but he has been very active on social media over the past 24 hours. She launched her own makeup line with the Italian brand Mulac.
