Sunnyva Rose is a nuclear and energy physicist and director of communications at Norsk Kernecraft. Stavrum & Ikland tells us that the wind has shifted in recent years, and that although there are strong lobbying forces working against nuclear power, it is now blowing in a favorable direction.

Nuclear power in Norway
Ross believes that by the end of the 2030s, the first nuclear power plants can be completed in Norway. They will be an important aspect for Norway to achieve the emission reduction targets we have set for 2050. He cites a Swedish survey that says 1/3 hydropower, 1/3 wind and wind power would be optimal for Sweden. 1/3 nuclear power.
– In Norway we have a lot of hydropower, so let's say 50 percent hydro, 25 percent wind and 25 percent nuclear is the best mix. It provides 30 to 40 nuclear power plants in Norway, he says.

Nuclear energy is the most eco-friendly source of energy available according to nuclear physicist.
