The day before the international match against Georgia, Valerenga and national team player Stefan Strandberg (33) announced that he will become a father next month.
“I miss you every day big brother. No one can be like you, but in October there will be Kenny 2.0,” Stefan Strandberg wrote on Instagram just before 11pm on Monday night.
The Vålerenga captain shared a photo of his pregnant girlfriend.
There are many sports figures who offered congratulations, such as handball player Sander Sagosen and his national team colleague and goalkeeper Orjan Haskegold Nyland. Molde player Magnus Wolf Ekrem also commented on the message with two hearts. Salmon billionaire Gustave Magnar Fitzwe also liked the post.
Strandberg lost his older brother to cancer in 2017, TV2 writes.
Norway beat Jordan 6-0 in a special international match last week, but Tuesday is European Championship qualification and Georgia awaits Olivall.
Strandberg’s brand new national team teammate Antonio Nosa scored a goal in his first match for the national team against Jordan:
“Infuriatingly humble internet trailblazer. Twitter buff. Beer nerd. Bacon scholar. Coffee practitioner.”
