In May, Welsh dancer Amy Dowden, 33, known from Strictly come dancing, received the bad news that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

In July, she received another diagnosis of a disease of a “different kind,” which she self-diagnosed, according to the report. BBC. The dancer is now starting her second round of chemotherapy, just weeks after being diagnosed with cancer, and there’s one thing in particular she’s finding more challenging this time around.
“What I’m finding more difficult this time, and the last few days, is the hair loss.”
She expresses it on Instagram, according to BBC.

“No matter how much I set myself up, waking up every morning and pulling my hair up and seeing what falls, it’s heartbreaking for me personally.”
Dowden adds that she has stopped styling her hair and is cutting back on washing it, describing how it doesn’t make her feel.
“So it’s time to find a wig and get used to it, and help me feel like me.”
The dancer has always been open on Instagram about both her diagnosis and treatment, and seems to be in good spirits.
“Another step closer! It feels much better today. Last time I was so stressed, nervous, scared and full of emotions, but this time I know what to expect,” she wrote, among other things, before her second round of chemo last week.
Dowden first joined the Strictly come dancing program in 2017, and in 2019 she was in the final with British presenter Karim Zeroual (29).
The dancer previously stated that she will not be dancing in this year’s season, but will participate in the program in other ways, the BBC wrote.
