A female supervisor at the University of Oslo who was stabbed by a student has thanked colleagues for their help.
The victim’s lawyer, Heke Salomon, tells VG.
On Thursday afternoon, two female professors at the University of Oslo were injured in a stabbing at the Stami building in Majerstuwa.
According to VG, a 20-year-old male student and two female teachers allegedly talked to each other after the student failed a pharmacy course.
During this conversation, the student allegedly pulled out a knife.
One teacher was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, while the other teacher was taken to the emergency room with minor injuries.
– She is grateful for the help she received from a colleague who was offended in the case – and for the help she received from other colleagues who later helped, the legal aid lawyer tells VG.
The 20-year-old male student was remanded in custody for four weeks on Saturday. He denies criminal charges of attempted murder but pleads guilty to causing bodily harm.
– It was a coincidence, it didn’t end badly, the legal aid lawyer says.
