– Suzanne Somers died peacefully at her home in the early morning of October 15. She has lived with an aggressive form of breast cancer for 23 years, says agent R. Corey Hi.

-Susan had her loving husband Alan, her son Bruce, and her immediate family around her.
According to the website, the family was planning to celebrate her birthday on Monday.
Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her so much. There will be a private funeral this week, but a memorial service next month.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight this summer, Somers stated that she would continue to fight cancer.
-I have lived with cancer since I was in my twenties. And every time this little shit comes up, I keep fighting. I am doing my best not to let this terrible disease control me.

The actress said she gets a lump in her stomach every time the cancer comes back.
-Then I put on my armor and go to war. This is a familiar war zone for me and I am very difficult.
At that time, she thanked her husband and children for their support during the illness.
