Swedish singer and actor Sven Bertil Taube has died at the age of 87. At the age of 15, Everett Taub’s son appeared for the first time – with his father.
One of Sweden’s most famous theater artists died of natural causes in London on Friday morning, Anders Ramstedt, his director, told TT news agency.
Taub was the son of famous singer and composer Everett Taub and sculptor Astri Taub. He was one of Sweden’s most famous artists.

He was also known as a skilled translator of Karl Michael Pillmann and Mikis Theodorakis, among others.

Health problems
In recent years, Taube has suffered from many health problems. He lost most of his sight and hearing, and developed bronchitis. Nevertheless, he continued his activity as an artist until the end.
– I obviously have some disabilities, but complaining doesn’t help. It’s a part of life and I try to deal with it in the best possible way. I have something to do, and therefore I do not have time to think about my visual impairment. That undoubtedly preserves morale, he said.
Like his father Everett, Sven Bertil will be remembered for a long time.
