On Thursday, US traffic authorities released documents showing that the automated system that is supposed to ensure that people do not pinch their fingers in the windows of more than a million Tesla’s Model 3, Model S and Model X cars is not working properly.
to me Watchman It must be in breach of the national standard for electric windows. A defective mechanism should ensure that the windows stop if the vehicle detects that something is stuck. The newspaper wrote that Tesla discovered the problem during tests in August.
According to the company, the issues can be fixed with a simple software update. Owners of the cars in question will receive information from Tesla starting November 15.
According to the Guardian, Tesla is not aware that anyone has been injured as a result of these problems.
The recovery news was not well received by the market, we have to believe CNBC. Tesla stock is down more than four percent on the stock exchange today. At the time of writing, the Nasdaq broad technology index is down 1.35 percent.
