Round six in Eliteserien is approaching at dangerous speed. After a period in which many used the chips to adjust to the hectic schedule of matches, we are in a somewhat more predictable part of the fantasy season.
Meanwhile, there is cup final juggling to consider for top teams Brann and Lillestrom, and all clubs have to deal with close matches within a relatively hectic window in the next few weeks, including the party day of May 16.
before tomorrow’s exchange deadline (Friday, 18.55) We’ve rounded up our favorite round six picks from the experts. Experts answered both the captain’s question – and the vice-captain’s choice – as there is uncertainty surrounding several Bodø/Glimt profiles, including King Amahl Pellegrino’s point.
The experts also give you their advice on which “variations” (low-stakes players) they think you can pick to stand out from the crowd and maybe knock some points on family, colleagues or friends in your leagues over the next three weeks. Plus, we asked everyone if they would go Hugo Vetlesen over Magnus Wolff Eikrem in this Tour.
These are the experts’ picks for the sixth round:
Amin Askar, 383 points, 2133rd place in the overall standings:
a tour CaptainBy: Amal Pellegrino.
Vice-captain: cool vin.
Teams are recommended for the following three rounds:
Magnus Wolf Oak Cream (Midline , Mold11.4 million owned by 7.2%).
Christian Eriksen (Midline , Mold8.3 million, owned by 8.3%)
Knight of Mumbania (attacks, Budo/flash9.4 million, owned by 5.8%)
In that order.
Hugo Vitelsen or Magnus Wolf Eckerem? Whittleson.
Daphne Thun, 389 points, 1537th place overall:
CaptainBy: Amal Pellegrino.
Vice-captain: cool vin.
I don’t think Glimt was a bigger favorite in a match against RBK than he is this time around. The odds market believes there is a 71-72 percent chance of winning at home! Pellegrino is Eliteserien’s goal machine, and I don’t see enough reasons to put the captain’s armband on anyone else. If “Pelle” does not play, Bård Finne will step in as vice-captain.
Sarpsborg 08 and Bran met in Spain in February. In that match, Brann was clearly the better, even though it ended 3-3. Sarpsborg is in better shape now, but Brann is the favorite on Saturday. Finne has nearly twice as many shot attempts as the next guy on the list in Eliteserien. If you own Eikrem or Vetlesen, unlike me, there are two good options as Deputy Commander.
Teams are recommended for the following three rounds:
Christian Eriksen (Midline , Mold8.3 million, owned by 8.3%)
This is a player I’m considering signing myself. Eriksen played 90 minutes in both of Molde’s last two matches, scoring twice against his old club last time out. Brynhilsen and Brescia are both out with injuries, and I doubt they’ll both be playing from the start this weekend. I’m pretty sure Eriksen will start against Godest – either as a striker like against HamKam, or as an inside runner. In Round 7 and Round 8, we get Molde’s lineup before the trade deadline, which makes it all the more tempting to take a chance on a player who isn’t sure of being a regular in the starting eleven long-term. Only 3.3% of the top five thousand have him in their team, so here you can really go up if he hits. Molde Godust, Alesund and Sandefjord will face each other in the next three matches.
Hugo Vitelsen or Magnus Wolf Eckerem?
I think Vetlesen is the best with time. Vetlesen seemed to be back in good old fashion against LSK last time around, although there were no goals scored. Eikrem’s top level is quite extreme, and he can certainly deliver double-digit points in any match, even if he only plays 60 minutes. The next two matches are approaching – May 13th and May 16th. It’s clearly an advantage for Vitelsen, who plays 90 minutes for the most part. My generator has a better program, but Glimt is currently a better team. If someone is planning on playing wildcards soon, I’d be akin to saying Eikrem over Vetlesen. But Coach Hugo gets my vote!
Simin Asum, 396 points, 1017th place overall:
CaptainBy: Amal Pellegrino.
Vice-captain (»Vice Captain»): Frederick Bjorkan.
Pelle is easy this round, but if you think Glimt will struggle to break down RBK, it’s interesting with Opta favorite Bjørkan. If he scores a goal, you’re almost guaranteed a double-digit score.
Teams are recommended for the following three rounds:
Sidi Ghatta (FW, VIF, 6.5 million, 5% owned)
Vålerenga really started with Jatta up front. Two good games are behind him, and two good games are waiting for you. A beautiful tour of May 16th follows after the Hougesund away.
Jesper Taaje (Defense, Sandefjord, 4.5 million, 4% owned)
Sandefjord already in 3 out of 5 matches without looking back. The latter scored at home and I think there will be more. Is it better to play football on home soil? I think so.
Germund Ossen (midfielder, LSK, 8.6 million, 10.7% owned)
If ownership is at 10.7 percent that is fine for the difference. Lillestrøm’s program eases up a bit after the cup final. As long as he’s at 100 percent, we’ll likely see him serving monsters with his foot. Mohamed Afkir (midfield, VIF, 8.3 million, owned 7.6%). if not. Least mentioned among the attacking players in Vålerenga during the day, with Håkans. Good when it was against LSK. Scoring in Lerkendal. I think he’s going to play hard for the next few rounds, and we know what can happen next!
Hugo Vitelsen or Magnus Wolf Eckerem? Whittleson.
Sondre Golden Midtgarden, 403 points, 639th place overall:
CaptainBy: Amal Pellegrino.
Vice-captain: Hugo Vitelsen.
Teams are recommended for the following three rounds:
Christian Eriksen (Midline , Mold8.3 million, owned by 8.3%)
In a MFK team where many offensive players are struggling, Eriksen could suddenly get a lot of playing time. Great games next three.
Ramon Pascal Lundqvist (Midline , Sarpsborg 087.0 million, owned by 3.3%)
He gets paid less so far. It is only 3.3 percent owned and both the software and the format suggest things can suddenly go off right for Pascal and the 08.
Henrik Rorvik Bjordal (Midline , live7.0 million, owned by 4.6%)
Inga has shown positive, offensive tendencies and Bjordal is often involved in and around the box.
Hugo Vitelsen or Magnus Wolf Eckerem? Whittleson.
Franco Rocher, 406 points, 520 overall:
Captain: Hope Pellegrino.
Vice Captain: Christian Eriksen
Pellegrino speaks for himself. Molde looked promising getting on the field all the way – and finally getting results. Eriksen earns a somewhat lower salary.
Teams are recommended for the following three rounds:
Joel Mfuka (Midfield, Glimt, 8.4 million, 7.5% owned)
Christian Eriksen (Midline , Mold8.3 million, owned by 8.3%)
Eric Haugan (defense, Mold5.5 million owned (8.3%)
Mvuka plays everything all the time. Eriksen is underpaid. Haugan is getting rewarded now that Molde is starting to keep clean sheets.
Hugo Vitelsen or Magnus Wolf Eckerem? Whittleson.
