The star broke the party – he lost his voice

The Weeknd (32) abruptly halted his completely sold-out concert in Inglewood, California on Saturday night.

Only three songs at the concert, the artist told fans that he should cancel the show.

The reason is that he lost his voice in the middle of the song “I Can’t Feel My Face”.

He left the stage in the middle of the song

In the middle of the song, the artist left the stage, the song ended, and another song started before the lights came on.

Then the singer was said to have gone out on stage again, said he had lost his voice and apologized for having to cancel.

“I’ll make sure everyone is well, and you’ll get your money back,” he said to a stunned audience.

The artist was clear in his desire to personally tell the audience why the concert was canceled. And when he stood on the stage, he said:

– I will make you a new offer soon, but now I can’t give you what I want to give you.

– I’m totally broke

Later, the artist also posted a message on his Twitter account.

– My voice disappeared during the first song and I’m totally broke. I felt it disappear and my heart sank. My sincere apologies to my fans here. I promise I’ll fix you a new date.

The Canadian star is one of the most played artists on Spotify globally.

“Blinding Lights” is the second most played song on Spotify of all time, surpassed only by Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You”.

How significant The Weeknd’s voice issue is, and whether any other tour dates will currently be affected is unclear. According to the plan, the artist will give a concert on September 13 in Sweden.

The artist was originally supposed to give a concert in Oslo on September 18, but that concert was postponed. Canceled in October last year due to delays and lack of yards in several places.
