Therese Johaug's results drop sharply

For former cross-country star Therese Johaug, 2023 has been a much worse year than the previous one, with a strong drop in after-tax earnings.

After her successful World Championships in 2011, millions poured in for the former cross-country runner. She had already started 2012 with an income of NOK 1.1 million and assets worth NOK 13 million. In 2018, after passing a positive doping test, she had won several gold and Olympic medals at the World Cup in the previous years, and had amassed another fortune of NOK 50 million.

continued financial success

Teresa Johaug's financial success continued. In 2020 and 2021, her total revenue was nearly NOK 10 million. In 2022, a year after she put her skates on the shelf, she earned over NOK 5 million and her fortune increased to NOK 63.9 million.

Operating profit in 2023 ended at NOK 2.5 million for Setra, which is more than half of the operating profit from 2022.

Although Setra achieved a strong profit of NOK 5.8 million, it was a sharp decline from the previous year when it reported a profit of NOK 16.9 million after tax.

Setra's book equity increased from NOK 57.9 million to NOK 63.7 million in 2023. Through his company, Johaug owns shares in Lillesetra and Voss Holdco.

The skater lives in a detached house at Holmenkollveien 97B, a property she bought for $18.8 million in the summer of 2017.

In 2024, she will return as a skier in New Mexico, though a final decision on a full return is currently pending.
