As usual, this takes place at 10:00 local time on the US West Coast, which means that the launch begins at 19:00 in Norway.
In the invitation sent by Apple, the company used the word “wonderlust” and showed the Apple logo in grey, blue and black colors, which could be a hint to the colors of this year’s iPhone Pro models.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are still expected to have a very similar look to this year’s iPhone, but the usual “bus pocket” at the top of the screen will disappear, to be replaced by the new “dynamic island” from last year.
For those who have been waiting for a smaller iPhone, such as the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini, there are unfortunately no indications that these iPhones will return.
There are also plans to replace the Lightning connector on the bottom with a USB-C port, after much pressure from the European Union.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will get the most attention. Titanium frames with thinner designs will be the trend, along with major camera upgrades.
In particular, the Max model should have a powerful telescopic camera with a long zoom capability, as we’ve seen this feature become a common feature on some Android mobiles, especially on major competitor Samsung.
Of course, there are also plans for the Pro models to also have a USB-C connector and possibly faster transfer and charging speeds than the regular iPhone model.
