Thomas Markle is comparing himself to King Charles after clashing with Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry

The family conflicts surrounding Prince Harry (39) and Duchess Meghan (42) will never end, and at this point there is hardly a family member they haven't quarreled with. The public has gained insight into many conflicts, whether through statements, interviews, books and television series.

Before the Duchess and her father Thomas Markle (79 years old), the relationship faded when the latter took paparazzi photos ahead of the prince’s wedding in 2018. Today, the father and daughter are not supposed to have any contact at all, but that does not prevent the 79-year-old from speaking out publicly in The media.

In an exclusive interview with daily Mailaccording to Page sixMarkle compares herself to her father-in-law, King Charles, and believes that neither of them deserved the treatment they received from Harry and Meghan.

– I would have liked to talk to him, because I'm sure he has as many unanswered questions as I do. None of us deserve the treatment we receive. He is undergoing cancer treatment and I am not in the best of health either.

In February, the British monarch was diagnosed with cancer, and Markle says he has deep sympathy for him.

The 79-year-old adds that he has yet to meet his grandchildren Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, and believes the children will soon be wondering why. He claims that it is only a matter of time before the princely couple realizes what they have lost, due to all the conflicts.

Harry and Meghan have been living in California, United States, since 2020. According to Page Six, they have kept in touch with Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, while Harry has never met his father-in-law.
